What you’ll be shouting

  • der, die, das — all 84 A1.1 nouns with their article
  • men and -er jobs are der: Lehrer, Kellner, Verkäufer, Computer
  • women and most -e words are die: Lampe, Katze, Küche, Schule
  • -chen is always das: das Mädchen
  • plural-only words are die: Eltern, Geschwister
  • countries that keep die: die Schweiz, die Türkei, die USA
