I have been living in a new flat on the edge of town since March. The building is old, but the flat is bright and quiet. The big living room has a big window with a view of a small park. On the wall hangs a beautiful picture of my grandmother. In the hall there is enough room for my bike. In the evenings I most like to sit on the comfortable sofa and read. Unfortunately the kitchen is very small, but it has a new cooker and a modern fridge. In front of the building stands an old tree, and in summer the neighbours often sit in its shade. I have nice neighbours: Ms Keller from the first floor waters my plants when I am on holiday, and the young man from across the road helped me with the move. Only one thing bothers me: the rent is quite high. But when I sit on the balcony in the evening with hot tea, I know: the move was the right decision.
