Mr Brandt: Good morning, Ms Wagner, nice that you are here. Please take a seat. First, tell us a little about yourself. Ms Wagner: Gladly. I worked for three years as a sales assistant in a furniture store. I enjoyed the work, but now I would like to do something new. Mr Brandt: And why are you interested in the office job with us? Ms Wagner: I would like to work in an office because I am good at organising. At the furniture store I already planned the appointments with customers and checked the orders. Mr Brandt: Which languages do you speak? Ms Wagner: German and English, and I am learning Spanish at the moment. But unfortunately my Spanish is not very good yet. Mr Brandt: That is no problem. Many of our customers are in Great Britain, so English is more important for us. By the way, the job is part-time, twenty hours a week. Would that be all right for you? Ms Wagner: Yes, that would suit me very well, because I pick up my daughter from school in the afternoon. Mr Brandt: Very good. Do you have any questions for us? Ms Wagner: Yes. Could you tell me exactly what the working hours are? And from when could I start? Mr Brandt: You would work from eight to twelve, and we are looking for someone from the first of October.
