Großer Text: Das bin ich

Lesson · 3 rules · about 3 min

Fill in a whole self-introduction (verbs, articles and capitals) and see the text you will soon write about yourself.

  1. 1ich takes -e, sie takes -t, wir takes the infinitive
  2. 2der / ein / mein — the masculine nominative has no ending
  3. 3Nouns keep their capital, even mid-sentence
Why this matters

One whole self-introduction with twelve gaps, using everything from this module at once: verb endings for ich, sie and wir, sein and haben, and the nominative articles der / mein. Each gap has a small hint under it — the verb and the person (heißen · ich), or the article it wants — so this is not a memory test but a putting-together test. Read the whole text first, because the sentence tells you the person; fill the verbs before the articles; and type only the one word the gap wants. It is the text you will soon write yourself — for a course, a pen pal or a new colleague — seen in reverse.
